Problem:
Constant email problems, intermittent file sharing problems, printing problems, shared calendar errors, obsolete backup system are unreliable web hosting are just a few of the many problems this business attorney had. We found the IT Company they were using before finding us did not configure their Microsoft Server or desktop computers correctly and were using a non functioning backup system. They were hosting the lawyer’s website on a cheap shared off shore web hosting platform located in China! (No wonder the web and email hosting was only ten bucks a month) And they were being nickel and dimed to death with their previous computer service provider which sent inexperienced computer technicians that were completely incompetent with computer networking and only knew how to tinker with their servers. Solution:
We first backed up everybody’s data on site and off site to a remote location, and then we rebuilt and reconfigured the misconfigured servers and workstations. After we were finished doing that we installed and configured centrally managed antivirus software and a high quality firewall. We moved the website to our own web servers located in a data center right here in Orlando Florida.
We designed, configured and tested a fast and reliable backup system in their office and a second backup system located off site to protect and preserve their data.
To put the icing on the cake we configured remote access so these lawyers can access their work computers from their PC’s at his home and while they are out of town via their laptops. We also completely manage, maintain and verify their backups are running every single night and proactively maintain their computers, network, servers, and software which have since completely eliminated their previous technical problems. Desktop computer was infected with a computer virus.
Within seconds of visiting this doctor we instantly discovered their previous computer consulting firm set this doctor’s server up as desktop computer which had NO ANTI virus protection, NO BACKUP SYSTEM and was also completely misconfigured! NO WE ARE NOT JOKING!
Solution:
First we backed up the doctors data on site and off site to preserve the data while re rebuilt and correctly configured the server. We built a custom high performance desktop for the doctor then rebuilt each and every desktop computer which had been neglected for years. We installed and configured centrally managed antivirus software, a fast onsite and offsite backup system and configured the doctors home PC’s and laptops for remote access. To finish the job we tested and re tested everything then trained the medical staff how to use their new medical software.
